CrystalDiskMark is a small tool that allows you to carry out different tests on the drives of your computer to check the performance when it has to read or write data.
Users can decide the number of tests they want to do, the size (in megabytes) of the test, and the drive they want to test.
The tests made by CrystalDiskMark check the reading and writing capabilities sequentially, in blocks of 512 kilobytes and other smaller ones of 4 kilobytes.
If you decide to do more than one test, CrystalDiskMark will calculate the average reading/writing velocity between all the tests you do.
The result of CrystalDiskMark's tests allow you to detect possible bottlenecks and see if replacing the disk is necessary.
